Chapter #1 “A Chuck Who Cares”

I had watched enough Sam and Dean Winchester. I knew how this goes. I was Chuck. I get it. I knew my job. The Pen is mightier than the sword. What’s stronger than the Pen? Knowledge, teamwork, a Plan, and a “Chuck who cares.” You could say I’m a Chuck who cares.

I saw this coming in 1984. I wasn’t the only one. 1984 is a very significant year. It was the Year of The Download.

That was the year 144,000 of us received “The Message” that would activate the preparations we would all undertake over the next 40 Years.

There’s that “40” again. It’s popping up all over the place again. It’s time. Deluge Time. I decided to partner this with This Podcast Is NOT A Conspiracy, which would be an epic diversion to “Play Off” the Conspiracy Theory rumor they loved to spread and… I learned from the best. “Hide it in Fiction.”

The oldest trick in the book.

Spartan Humor. I had it in spades.

I was an Ancient Greek reincarnated as Mara Lane. I had one job to do. Write this weird as book “Zombies From Space… And Vampires” and hide all of the messages inside of it.

Sounds easy enough. I just had to “not disappear” during the next 40 Years.

I’m special. I can read a language no one else can. How did I put it in my other book?

They call it “Reading between the Lines,” and that is exactly what it is… But no one ever teaches you the Science. Pythagoras did. Gematria came from Isopsephy, which was created by Pythagoras. He left us all a message, but none could read it.

That is why I have to play the “Chuck Who Cares” in this Story.

I had my Class coming in soon… I ran a God School for Witches and Goddess and Aspiring Wizards. Conspiracy Theorists also. I was a Professor and a Scientist and Religious People. We talked a lot about Powerful Bullies and how to overcome the Childhood Trauma of our Parents.

Parents can be the most Powerful of Bullies… It’s amazing how Versatile these skills are. Later, I had a luncheon with Lady Black Thumb who trained Preppers on how to become Self-Sufficient and no longer rely on anyone for anything.

I learned how to do things Quietly. I learned how to do things simply. Black People had to learn this a long time ago. Now it was White People’s turn. “Give them what they want and they leave you alone.” That’s when they think you’ve won.

You know, the Greeks had a “thing” we used to do.

I’d have to teach it to my Students. Philosophy. The New Cool. I would have to put that on the Agenda today.

I put my head down on the table and thought.

I was time to Nourish the People in the right direction. But there was a right way… and a very dumb way. This was a game of Chess between The Liar and The Man… and The Bull and The Lion.

It was time for a good man to go to war.
